Every trip listed here leaves from Dubai Marina. The boat first cruises between the Marina towers, then heads out to sea past Ain Dubai on Bluewaters Island and along JBR. With more time, private charters continue towards Palm Jumeirah and the Burj Al Arab. A licensed captain sails the boat, so you do not need any experience.
On private charters, food is not part of the price. Both operators let you bring your own; Xclusive asks you to avoid soups, curries and red wine. Extras such as water sports, a crew-cooked BBQ or a photo package cost more.
Every guest on an Xclusive charter needs ID: a passport copy for tourists or an Emirates ID for residents. The operator warns of fines of up to AED 1,500 per person without it. Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and swimwear if you plan to swim. On the shared tour you take your shoes off when you board, and shorts, a T-shirt and sandals are the suggested clothing.
On private charters, swimming is only allowed in daylight and when the sea is calm; Xclusive's cut-off is usually 17:00 in winter and 19:00 in summer. Children are welcome on the Xclusive charter if an adult watches them at all times. On the shared tour, children under 9 wear life jackets for the whole trip and babies under 2 stay in the saloon or cabin with an adult. If the weather makes sailing unsafe, Xclusive moves your charter to another date at no extra cost.
Among the trips listed here, a private two-hour charter costs AED 750 for up to 10 guests or AED 800 for up to 22 with Columbus Yacht Rental. Xclusive Yachts lists its 52ft yacht from AED 1,650 per hour. A shared tour starts at AED 210 per adult.
