Group attractions by area to save travel time. Downtown Dubai has several major sights within walking distance of each other, while the Palm, Al Barsha South and the older districts along the Creek each deserve their own half day.

Many attractions use timed tickets. Book popular slots, especially around sunset, at weekends and during school holidays, a few days ahead. Indoor attractions are a good choice for the middle of the day in the warmer months; save gardens, parks and outdoor viewpoints for the morning or late afternoon.

Prices differ by ticket type, time slot and age. Compare what each ticket includes before you choose, and check the opening hours again close to your visit: they can change on public holidays and during Ramadan.

For the most popular attractions, yes: many use timed entry, and sunset, weekend and holiday slots sell out first. Buying online also lets you compare ticket types before you arrive.

Which attractions can I combine in one day?

Plan by area. Attractions in and around The Dubai Mall are within walking distance of each other, while places such as the Palm or Al Barsha South need a separate trip by taxi or public transport.

Are children’s tickets cheaper?

Most attractions have lower prices for children, and very young children often enter free. Age limits differ, so check the ticket details on the partner’s site before you pay.

What should I wear to attractions in Dubai?

Casual clothing is fine at most attractions. Cover shoulders and knees at religious and heritage sites, and bring swimwear only to water parks and beaches.
